The hardy few (regulars) met at the village hall, and then blitzed (collected litter from) one of the roads leading into the village. Collected, amongst other things, one car bumper, one fire extinguisher, one (good nick) alloy wheeel, with good tyre and ........loads of dog shit (neatly wrapped in individual plastic bags). It is a bit hard to credit the thought process that results in a dog owner picking up the dog shit with a plastic bag, tying the bag up ....and slinging it into the hedge. Guess they believe the poo fairy is going to collect it. They may as well leave it where it is, at least it will rot down A postscript -
